June Update–Cost of Living on the Caribbean Princess

The cost to live on the Caribbean Princess for the month of January 2017 has decreased since February.  The per diem has gone down from $265 to $259 per couple per day.  One of the itineraries has gone up in price, but two 8-day sailings can now be booked as a package for a big discount.

I first looked at sailing for a month on the Caribbean Princess back in February.  At that time, Princess was offering four sailings out of Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean and the A, B, C (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao) Islands.  The same sailings are still on offer, but it is possible to book the first two 8-day sailings as a package, for a savings of about $200 per person.  However, the price of the January 28 sailing has increased about $150 per person.

I have combined the first two itineraries as that is the lowest cost option.  Our new per diem is $258.70 per couple per day.

I’ll be rechecking the price right after the final payment date to see if prices change.
