It costs about $278 per day for two people to live on the Regal Princess. I’ve calculated costs to sail on the Regal during the month of January, 2017. This cost includes taxes, port fees, and gratuities.
In the last post we looked in detail at how much it would cost to spend January 2017 on board the Caribbean Princess. The Regal also sails out of Fort Lauderdale, but visits some different ports, and all itineraries are for seven nights each. All the maps and prices are directly from the Princess web site.
Regal’s first sailing in January leaves on the 8th and visits Amber Cove, St. Thomas, and St. Kitts.
The Regal turns around in Fort Lauderdale on the 15th, and then sails to Princess Cay, Grand Turk, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.
Yes, it’s showing a stop in Montego Bay, but that port is not visited until the Jan. 29th segment.
The next week’s cruise departs Fort Lauderdale on January 22, and repeats the January 8 itinerary.
The last segment of the month visits Princess Key, Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. The map shown above is the one that Princess uses for both the January 15 and January 29 itineraries, but it is only correct for the week beginning Jan. 29. The January 15 cruise visits Grand Turk instead of Montego Bay.
The following table gives prices for all itineraries and the total cost for two for 28 days.
The cost per day for two people on the Regal is $278.47.
Here’s our per day cost breakdown so far:
Royal Caribbean $235
Norwegian $285 (but includes drink package)
Caribbean Princess $265
Regal Princess $278
Next up is the Royal Princess.
