American Express Centurion Lounge–Is It Worth the Hype?

This is a review of the American Express Centurion lounge at the Dallas (DFW) airport.  I’ve posted the bar and massage menus, and give you my take on whether or not it’s worth holding the AMEX Platinum card with its $450 fee just so you can get Centurion Lounge access.

I’m in the Process of Dropping the Ball on my Chase Free Night

I have a free night certificate with IHG hotels that I need to use by the end of next month.  The free night is a perk of the IHG MasterCard issued by Chase.  Several years ago when I was applying for every travel rewards credit card under the sun, I got this one for myself and  my husband. Free Night in Athens with Chase Anniversary Free Night

When we arrive in Athens next month after a 10-hour overnight transatlantic flight, it will be nice to check into the InterContinental and sleep off some jet lag.  We will rest easier knowing that it will cost us less than staying at the local youth hostel.  I have no great need to stay in luxury hotels, but when I can do it at low cost, then why not? We have been doing this for several years now.  Last year on the way back from Crete, we had an overnight in Rome, and stayed for free at the De La
