Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!–Short Blog Vacation Coming Up

I’m taking a couple of weeks off as B. and I travel down to Mexico for awhile.  We will be visiting ghost towns in the Mexican Sierra.  I’ll see all y’all the second week in January!  Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday with friends and family.

We had a fun but exhausting sea day as we tried to pack in as much fun as possible for the boys on their last day.  We’ve given up on Camp Carnival and attending any shows.

We had a very short port day in Progresso–the trip to the beach was a let-down after Cozumel.  We did feel like we were really in Mexico after visiting the Mercado Central.

We have been to Cozumel many times and have always enjoyed it.  The wonderfully clear water and friendly inhabitants always make visiting Cozumel a pleasure.

We’ve just returned from our five-day cruise on the Carnival Fantasy out of Mobile, Alabama. This has proven to be one of our more exhausting vacations–we took our 5- and 2-year old grand sons along with us.
